Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Directorate General of Cultural and Economic Growth and Innovation, with the help of Unioncamere (Italian Chamber of Commerce) and Confindustria (Italian Industrial Confederation), provides scholarships for the academic year 2021-2022.
Scholarships are awarded for Masters programs (Laurea Magistrale or Masters) at the Italian Higher Education Institute (state-owned institution or institution legally approved by the competent State authority) of the program partner ” Invest Your Talent in Italy “.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Italy. He is also known as Metonim Farnesina from his headquarters, Palazzo Della Farnesina in Rome.
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate must be an international student.
Applications can only be submitted by applicants who hold the appropriate academic credentials (Bachelor’s degree) to participate in the selected master’s degree program (Laurea Magistrale or Master Universitario). Applicants must already have obtained their Bachelor’s degree.
Students currently studying at an Italian university and those who have obtained an Italian university degree are not eligible for the Italian Government Scholarship Program.
Only students who have submitted their application for ONE of the graduate programs (Laurea Magistrale or Masters) included in the program can apply for Italian Government scholarships.
Applicants must be born on or after January 1, 1994, unless the only scholarship will be renewed.
Applicants must request a certificate in English as proof of their proficiency. Applicants must hold at least a B2 level certificate in the Standard European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Applicants who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English can apply for a certificate from the university, which states that English is the language of instruction at the university / course / faculty. This certificate can be recognized as proof of proficiency in the English language.
Proof of proficiency in Italian is not mandatory but will be taken into account in the selection process.

Why study in Italy?
Italy has played an important role in academia, pushing for European higher education reforms through the Bologna process. Students pursuing an education in Italy will gain valuable classroom experience and significant cultural competences in one of Europe’s youngest republics.
Scholarships will be awarded as follows:
The applicant will receive a monthly payment of EUR 900.00 each quarter, which will be charged to his or her Italian bank account.
Upon arrival in Italy, students can receive specific details on the procedure for payment of scholarships.
The first installment of the scholarship can only be accepted after completion of university registration and submission of all submitted documentation according to the required administrative procedures.
Health care and health insurance.
Applicants who have been awarded scholarships under the ‘Invest Your Talent in Italy’ scheme are exempt from paying tuition fees, except for ‘Diritto Allo Studio’ regional fees, stamp duty, any fees related to accident and civil liability insurance, health insurance policies.
How to Apply for Scholarship
To apply for this scholarship, candidates must follow these steps:
Step 1: Apply for Registration
To apply, applicants are required to enter a master’s degree program at an International University in Italy. You must apply before the closing date.
Step 2: Apply for Scholarship
The Italian government will send scholarship application documents to those who have shown an interest in applying for scholarships in their application for admission.

Applicants must meet the entry requirements for the country / general studies curriculum.
You must demonstrate English language proficiency and meet general acceptance criteria for the country / curriculum in which you are studying.
Final transcripts of all previous exams as well as final degrees (Bachelor degrees).
Students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree but have not yet obtained their Diploma – along with final transcripts of all previous exams – must also request a certificate from their university stating that they have completed the program their Bachelor’s degree and waiting for the Diploma to be released. This document must be released and signed by a representative of the Office of the Academic Registrar.
Certificate of English (IELTS or TOEFL).
Certificate in Italian. Not necessary, but will get a score when submitted.
Students from European Union (EU) or EFTA countries can enter Italy with a valid passport or EU ID card and stay in Italy without a visa for the duration of their studies. However, upon arrival, EU students must register at the local Questura police station if their course of study is longer than three months to receive a residence permit.
