The Flemish Ministry of Education is pleased to announce the Master Mind Scholarships at Ghent University. This grant is open to students studying academically for master’s programs in Flanders and Brussels.
For this grant, Ghent University is looking for applicants who have completed their graduation degree and are willing to enter the master’s program.

Only students who are not currently enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution are eligible.
The only exception is made for international students who are already enrolled in a preparatory program to start a master’s program in September 2021.
All nationalities are eligible but the previously obtained degree must be from a higher education institution located outside of Flanders or Brussels.
Students cannot combine this application with other scholarships from the Flemish government or Erasmus Mundus scholarships.
Student mobility during the master program is allowed. However, at least half of the credit must be obtained at the Flemish host institution.
How to apply
How to apply: When applying for a grant, the first step is to apply for an affirmation. To take direct affirmations, students are required to select a suitable master’s program from the university. After becoming a student at this university, applicants can apply for these opportunities.
To be eligible for this application students are required to have these documents – passport photo, international passport or ID card and transcript of record.
Students, who wish to take affirmations in major programs, must have a suitable Belgian academic bachelor’s degree.
To be eligible for this application, applicants must have Dutch at level B2 for Masters programs taught in Dutch and English at level B2 for Masters programs taught in English.
After applying for this application, applicants will be awarded a stipend of € 8000 per academic year.
